These are the rules in full: who can take part, what makes a submission valid, how the reward pool is shared, and what happens to the recording once you have submitted it. None of it is buried, because a campaign that asks for your voice and then goes quiet about what it does with it would be arguing against the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The short version<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where: the data campaign page inside the ONTO Wallet app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opens: 26th August 8am UTC. Closes: 2rd September 8am UTC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What you do: answer three randomly assigned questions out loud, in English, in 3 recordings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Length: at least 10 seconds, no longer than 60 seconds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reward pool: $200, shared by 100 contributors selected at random, at $2 each<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost to take part: nothing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can take part<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anyone running the ONTO Wallet release that ships the voice feature, v4.10.7 or later. Update the app before you start, or the campaign page will not offer you a recording.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You need a wallet in the app. Your submission is attached to your wallet address, and that address is where a reward would be paid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One valid submission per wallet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is nothing to stake, hold, or pay. No minimum balance, no tier, no token requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to take part<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update ONTO Wallet and open the data campaign page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Proof of Voice and authorise the app to record. Nothing is captured before you do that.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are given three questions, drawn at random from a bank of 100. They are general questions rather than personal ones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Answer all three out loud, in English, in one continuous recording.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit. That is the whole thing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What makes a submission valid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of the following have to be true:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One continuous recording covering all three questions. Three separate recordings do not count.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between 10 and 60 seconds long.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spoken in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your own voice, recorded by you at the time you submit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submitted before the campaign closes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What will get a submission rejected<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A recording under 10 seconds or over 60 seconds. The app will tell you before you submit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A recording that does not answer the three questions you were given.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Silence, background noise, or audio with no audible speech in it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Synthetic or pre-recorded audio. That includes text to speech, a clip of somebody else, and anything played back into the microphone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than one submission from the same wallet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automated or scripted submissions, or any attempt to submit outside the app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A rejected submission does not enter the draw. Nothing has been paid to take part, so nothing is lost, and you are welcome to take part in the next campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The reward pool, and how contributors are selected<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The pool is $200.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When the campaign closes, 100 contributors are selected at random from every valid submission. Each receives $2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selection is genuinely random. This is a data contribution campaign with a random reward draw, not a contest of skill, so a longer or more interesting answer counts exactly the same as a short one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rewards are paid to the wallet address attached to the submission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nothing is paid to enter, and no purchase, stake or balance affects selection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens to your recording<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you submit, ONTO receives four things: the recording itself, your wallet address, which three questions you were asked, and the time you submitted. That is the trade, stated plainly. Your voice, in exchange for entry into the reward pool and a contribution to the data set ONTO is building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What does not change is the shape of the decision. Contributing is something you choose, on one specific thing, for a reason you were told in advance.
